The Anterior Cruciate Ligament, or ACL, is one of the main stabilizers in the knee, but the jumping and pivoting in sports like soccer, basketball, and volleyball can put immense stress on an ACL and cause it to tear. The South Central team will record a young athlete jumping, landing and pivoting to see when, where, and how much pressure is applied to the knee. For more information or to enroll in the South Central Sports Metric’s ACL Injury Prevention program, call (601) 399-0530.
