Ed Haas, an avid fisherman, father, and grandfather, started having shoulder pain after starting an exercise program to get into better shape. He went to see Dr. Richard O’Keeffe, Jr., who diagnosed him with a torn rotator cuff. Ed went in for an outpatient procedure one Thursday morning, and was back at work on Monday.
Ed began physical therapy shortly after surgery at the Wellness Center, and he quickly moved from physical therapy back to the weight room, and was quickly on his way to getting back to normal.
Ed went on a tuna fishing trip this past winter and stated: “For years, I’ve never been able to reel a full turn with my hand, and when my turn came, on the boat he came, and it wasn’t any problem at all!”
