Dr. Derrick Burgess is South Central Regional Medical Center’s first fellowship trained Sports Medicine Orthopaedic surgeon and he says sports medicine in the Jones County area is advancing rapidly. At South Central Sports Performance+, athletes ages eight and up can get general or sports specific training.
