Dan Diers, DPT, ATC, MPT, received his Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Sports Medicine and Exercise Physiology with minors in Biology and Psychology from Northern Illinois University in 1994. He completed his Master of Physical Therapy from Governors State University in 1998. He completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Governors State University in 2015. He served as a student Athletic Trainer for the United States Swim Team in two different Olympics and also served as a student Athletic Trainer for NCAA swimming championships for 4 years. Dan has been employed at South Central Regional Medical Center since 2001 and taken specialty courses in manual therapy and vestibular rehabilitation. His primary clinical practice is outpatient orthopaedics and vestibular rehabilitation. He is also involved in the development and program design of SCRMC’s SportsPerformance+ program, focusing on athletic enhancement. Dan has served as the Athletic Trainer for South Jones High School since 2001.
