Christy Sumrall was selected as the Employee of the Month for January 2015. Christy works at South Central Orthopaedics as a Supervisor. She has been employed with South Central Regional Medical Center for 2 years.

Christy is married to Bryan Sumrall and has one child, Sarah, 14. “In my free time I enjoy watching my daughter play soccer and softball,” says Christy. Christy’s proudest moment in life was becoming a wife and a mother. Her favorite TV show is American Idol and her favorite movie is Sweet Home Alabama.

When asked what Christy enjoys the most about working at South Central Orthopaedics, she replied, “I enjoy helping patients on their journey to recovery.”

Christy was also asked who in the organization has influenced your desire to strive for excellence. She stated, “All of my co-workers. I work with some of the most caring people. They go above what is required of them in treating patients and caring for each other. I am blessed to work in a place with such wonderful people.”
