Kristen Edwards, Senior at Laurel High School, was chosen as a South Central Sports Medicine Scholar Athlete. Kristen plays basketball, softball, cheerleading, and track. Kristen plans to play college softball while studying sports medicine.

When off the field or court, Kristen loves listening to music and traveling. If Kristen could meet one professional athlete she wants to meet Victoria Vivians who was selected number eight in the WMBA draft. Kristen’s message to her teammates this season is to work hard every day and play with hear.

South Central Sports Medicine presents the 2018-19 Class of Scholar Athletes. Senior Athletes were selected by Athletic Directors of their respective schools. Athletes were selected based on their leadership on and off the playing field, their attitude of sportsmanship and grade point average. South Central Sports Medicine congratulates each athlete for their dedication to their sport and their school.
