Creed Broom, Senior at West Jones High School, was selected as a South Central Sports Medicine Scholar Athlete. Creed plays football at West Jones. After graduation, Creed plans to attend Mississippi State University to pursue a degree in architecture. When Mark is not playing sports, he enjoys serving the community through his church, The Glory House and other community organizations.
Creed was asked what motivates him to do his best, he stated, “my future. It is best to put myself in a position of success in any scenario I face. I hope the goals I set for myself are always attainable.” His goal for the 2019 season is to lead his team to another state championship. When asked who is someone you look up, Mark respond, “my dad. He has supported me in every sport I have ever played. From being at all of my workouts, games and practices, my dad is always someone I can depend on.”
South Central Sports Medicine presents the 2019-2020 Class of Scholar Athletes. Senior Athletes were selected by Athletic Directors of their respective schools. Athletes were selected based on their leadership on and off the playing field, their attitude of sportsmanship and grade point average. South Central Sports Medicine congratulates each athlete for their dedication to their sport and their school.
