Derrick Burgess, M.D., Orthopaedic Surgeon & Sports Medicine Medical Director, and Joel Pierce, PT, DPT, ATC, CSCS, spoke to approximately 200 coaches and umpires at the Dixie Youth Preseason Baseball Clinic on February 24^th at Sanderson Farms. The South Central Sports Medicine team provided information on injury prevention for young athletes, as well as improving sports performance.
