Anna Kate Howard, Senior at South Jones High School, was selected as a South Central Sports Medicine Scholar Athlete. Anna Kate plays Varsity Soccer and Tennis for the South Jones Braves.

Anna Kate was asked what motivates her desire to excel on the playing field. She responded with, “My team, coaches, and parents are my best motivators. These individuals encourage me to do my very best and in return I work my hardest to make them each proud. The team works as a whole and if I do not motivate myself to do my job then I would not be a team leader. I thrive to put into practice what my coaches have taught me through the years. Lastly, I am motivated by my parents to be my best self on and off the field. They continue to encourage me daily and I do my very best to make them proud.”
